Ingredients/Components
- Wesson oil
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 2 c
- well-beaten eggs - 2 item
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- apples unpeeled, cut fine - 2 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- butter
- light brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
- whipping cream - 3 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
How to make apple cake:
Glaze:3 Tbsp. butter3 Tbsp. light brown sugar3 Tbsp. sugar3 Tbsp. whipping cream1/4 tsp. vanilla You will also need a 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased and floured pan.Preheat oven to 350°. Mix cake ingredients in the order given. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Do not open the oven for 30 minutes.
Bring glaze ingredients to a boil. Cook for 1 minute. Cool slightly. Then pour over the warm cake. Pierce cake with a fork.
