Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
How to make angel food cookies:
Mix in order given. Roll to size of a walnut. Dip in cold water and then in sugar to form a glaze on top while baking. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Yields 3 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Egg.
