Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
- egg whites - 13 item
- cream of tartar
- cake flour
How to make angel food cake:
Sift sugar and flour separately, seven times each. Set aside. Beat egg whites and salt until foamy. Add cream of tartar. Beat until stiff, but still moist. Lightly fold sugar into egg whites. Carefully fold in flour. Add almond and vanilla extracts.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low fat.
