Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- self-rising flour - 1 item
- Crisco - 1 c
- warm water - 1/4 item
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Sift 4 cups flour with the sugar and soda. Cut in Crisco until it looks like cornmeal. Place in an another bowl 1 cup flour, buttermilk and yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water. Mix well to the first mixture and place on a floured paper and roll wet. Place in a greased covered bowl and keep in refrigerator and cook as you need. Roll out like biscuits.
