24 hour fruit salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 4 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- whipping cream - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- large can pineapple, drained - 1 item
- large can Queen Anne pitted white cherries, drained - 1 item
- halved marshmallows - 24 item
How to make 24 hour fruit salad:
Heat whipping cream in a double boiler. Add egg yolks, sugar, lemon juice and salt. Cook until thick. Cool. Add 3/4 of the whipped cream, pineapple and cherries. Be sure to drain the fruit.
