  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • water - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
  • caramels - 20 item
  • can condensed sweet milk - 1 item
  • Heath bars - 3 item
  • Combine flour and sugar in large bowl

How to make 22 minute cake:

Do not use mixer. Combine flour and sugar in large bowl. Set aside. Bring to boil the butter, water, Crisco and cocoa. Gradually mix with flour and sugar mixture. Combine buttermilk, eggs and soda; mix well. Pour into 13 x 9-inch greased pan.. Bake for 20 minutes.Caramel Heath Topping:1/2 stick margarine1 can condensed sweet milk20 caramels3 Heath bars1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip Melt caramels in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir. Continue doing this until all caramels are melted. Punch holes in cake with end of mixer. Pour caramel topping over cake. Cool. When cold, put Cool Whip on top of cake. Crush 3 Heath bars and sprinkle over cake.
