Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- chopped nuts optional - 1 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- Icing:1 stick margarine
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Icing:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts (optional) Sift sugar and flour together; set aside. Place margarine, shortening, cocoa and water in saucepan and bring to a rapid boil. Combine with sugar and flour mixture. Add remaining ingredients; mix well and pour into 11 x 16-inch greased pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400°.Icing: Mix margarine, cocoa and milk; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar; add the rest of the ingredients. Beat well and pour on the cake while hot.
