Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Put margarine, Crisco, water and cocoa in saucepan
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Sift sugar and flour into large bowl. Put margarine, Crisco, water and cocoa in saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil. Pour this over sugar and flour mixture; stir well. Add buttermilk mixed with soda, eggs and vanilla; mix well. Pour in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 20 minutes at 375° or until done.Icing:1 stick margarine1 box powdered sugar2 Tbsp. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla6 Tbsp. milk1 c. chopped pecans Melt margarine, cocoa and milk.
