Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 3
- margarine - 1/4 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make yeast rolls:
In mixing bowl pour boiling water over shortening and margarine. When liquid has cooled to lukewarm add yeast and stir until dissolved. Add egg and salt to liquid. Sift flour into mixture about 3/4 cup at a time. Add enough to make soft dough. Shape rolls out, then let rise. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350°.
