Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 6 c
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast
- Let cool
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Combine first 4 ingredients. Let cool. Add egg and mix together. Add yeast dissolved in warm water. Add flour. Let rise 1 hour and then work down. Roll out dough and spread with butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and slice. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
