  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • plain flour - 2 c
  • oatmeal - 2 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • sticks oleo - 2 item
  • chocolate chips optional - 1 2

How to make cowboy cookies:

Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until creamy. Add eggs; mix flour, soda, baking powder and sift together. Mix with other ingredients. Bake at 350° until lightly browned.
