- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- whipped cream
- 9-inch baked pie shell - 1 item
How to make whipped cream pie:
Scald 1 cup of milk in top of double boiler. Mix sugar, salt and flour. Add remaining 1/2 cup of milk and make smooth paste. Pour into hot milk and stir until thick. Beat eggs and add to hot mixture. Cook for 5 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Cool and pour into baked pie shell. Pile whipped cream on top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
