  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • milk
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • whipped cream
  • 9-inch baked pie shell - 1 item

How to make whipped cream pie:

Scald 1 cup of milk in top of double boiler. Mix sugar, salt and flour. Add remaining 1/2 cup of milk and make smooth paste. Pour into hot milk and stir until thick. Beat eggs and add to hot mixture. Cook for 5 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Cool and pour into baked pie shell. Pile whipped cream on top.
