  • sugar - 2 c
  • flour
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • salt
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salad oil - 2/3 c
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 2 c
  • Add vanilla, oil and vinegar
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • stick butter - 1 item

How to make wacky cake:

Sift into 9 x 9-inch pan the first 5 ingredients. Add vanilla, oil and vinegar. Add water to mixture. Blend well. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.Wacky Cake Icing:2 c. sugar1/2 c. cocoa1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. milk2 tsp. vanilla1 stick butter Mix well. Let come to boil and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool slightly. Beat and spread on cake.
