Ingredients/Components
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- large container Cool Whip - 1 item
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- box strawberry or orange gelatin - 1 item
How to make velvet salad:
Heat pineapple and gelatin over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Combine Cool Whip, cream cheese and nuts. Add pineapple mixture. Stir well. Pour into Pyrex dish and congeal overnight.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Gelatin.
