Vegetarian chili
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- salt to taste - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- cans tomato soup - 2 3/4
- green peppers - 2 item
- cans red kidney beans - 3 oz
- large onions - 2 item
- grated Cheddar cheese optional - 1 item
- chili powder this is hot - 2 Tbsp
How to make vegetarian chili:
In large Dutch oven saute sliced peppers and onions in oil until lucid. Add all other ingredients. Cook on low to medium flame for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Serve covered with melted cheese, if desired.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beans, Chili.
