Vegetable salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- can French-style green beans - 1 lb
- can white corn - 1 lb
- can small peas - 1 lb
How to make vegetable salad:
In a large bowl, combine drained corn, green beans and peas. Add onion, green pepper and celery. In a saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Pour over vegetables. Refrigerate in metal or glass container.Cooked frozen white corn may be substituted for canned white corn.
