Vegetable bars



  • pkg - 2 oz
  • mayonnaise - 1 c
  • crescent rolls - 2 pkg
  • grated mild Cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
  • dry Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix - 1 pkg
  • vegetable * - 1 c

How to make vegetable bars:

*Add any vegetable you like (broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, green pepper, grated carrots, mushrooms, black olives or green onions).

Spread crescent roll dough on flat or large cookie sheet or jelly roll pan. Bake 7 to 8 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool 10 to 12 minutes. (I put in refrigerator.) Mix together softened cream cheese, then dry salad dressing mix and the mayonnaise. Spread on the baked dough. Sprinkle vegetables on top. Add cheese. Cut into "bars." Refrigerate until ready to serve.
