  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 3/4 tsp
  • large egg - 1 item

How to make vanilla wafers:

In a medium bowl, beat all ingredients at low speed until well blended. Drop dough by 2 teaspoons about 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are brown. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
