Raspberry coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- large egg - 1 item
- light brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
- oleo or butter - 3/4 c
- raspberry jelly - 1/4 c
- container vanilla yogurt - 1 (8
How to make raspberry coffee cake:
Mix the first 4 ingredients until mixture is like fine crumbs. Reserve 1 cup of mixture. To remaining flour mixture add baking powder, soda, salt, yogurt, vanilla and egg. Blend well. Spread batter in 10-inch cake pan, greased and floured. Carefully spoon jelly over top of cake. Sprinkle with walnuts. Sprinkle reserved topping (flour mixture) over nuts.
