  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
  • baking soda - 3/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • all-purpose flour
  • firmly packed light brown sugar
  • butter flavor Crisco shortening - 3/4 c
  • coarsely chopped pecans optional - 1 c

How to make ultimate chocolate chip cookies:

Heat oven to 375°. Place foil on countertop for cooling cookies. Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat on medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Beat egg into mixture. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix
