- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- bag caramels - 1 (14
How to make turtle cake:
Prepare cake mix using package directions. Pour half the batter into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes and let cool.Melt caramels with milk and margarine, cool. Pour over the cooled cake. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the nuts and 1/2 of the chips. Pour the batter over this and sprinkle with the remaining nuts and chips. Bake for 30 minutes longer.
