Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- soft butter - 3/4 c
- pecans - 1 c
- caramels - 1 pkg
- German chocolate cake mix Pillsbury Plus - 1 item
How to make turtle cake:
Mix together with mixer the cake mix, 1/2 cup evaporated milk and 3/4 cup soft butter. Pour half the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch greased pan. Bake at 350° for 5 minutes. Melt caramels and 1/2 cup evaporated milk. Pour over baked mixture. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips over mixture. Spoon rest of batter over mixture and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
