Turkey wild rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 6 oz
- mayonnaise or salad dressing - 1/2 c
- onion - 1/4 c
- sliced celery - 1/2 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- can mushroom stems and pieces, drained - 4 oz
- diced turkey or chicken - 2 c
- chicken broth or part milk and broth
- diced pimento, undrained - 2 oz
How to make turkey wild rice casserole:
Combine all ingredients except almonds. Pour into oiled baking dish and cover with foil. Bake at 350° to 375° for 1 hour. Remove cover and stir well. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until rice is tender. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
