Turkey spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- ground turkey - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- can crushed tomatoes - 1 lb
- chopped onion optional - 1/4 c
- crushed basil - 1/2 tsp
- 1/2 garlic cloves, minced - 1 item
How to make turkey spaghetti sauce:
Heat olive oil; add turkey, but do not brown. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, except cheese. Mix well. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour. Serve over pasta, rice or mashed potatoes. Top with Parmesan cheese. Yield: 4 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Turkey.
