Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- poppy seed - 1 item
- Ritz crackers
- to 8 chicken breasts boneless - 6 item
- or 3 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup - 2 item
- mayonnaise or 8 oz - 3 Tbsp
How to make poppy seed chicken:
Boil chicken until done. Place in bottom of casserole dish. Mix in mayo (or sour cream) with soup; pour over chicken. Melt butter in separate bowl. Crumble crackers and mix with butter. Put on top of soup mixture and add poppy seed on top. Bake at 375° until it bubbles in the middle.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
