Turkey piccata
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 lb
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 3/4 c
- paprika - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- ground turkey - 2 lb
- dry white wine - 1 c
- juice of 1 lemon
- sliced mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- cumin - 1/2 tsp
- cans S & W Texas Style barbecue beans - 4 item
- can crushed tomatoes with the juice - 1 oz
- chopped bell pepper or can use 3 Tbsp - 1 c
- chili powder more or less to your taste - 1 Tbsp
- cayenne pepper more or less to your taste - 1/4 tsp
How to make turkey piccata:
In a large skillet, brown turkey with onion. Drain fat. Place meat mixture in a large crock-pot and add remaining ingredients. Mix all together well. Cook on lowest setting for 8 to 10 hours.
