Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 lb
  • flour - 3/4 c
  • butter - 3/4 c
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 item
  • ground turkey - 2 lb
  • dry white wine - 1 c
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • sliced mushrooms - 1/2 lb
  • cumin - 1/2 tsp
  • cans S & W Texas Style barbecue beans - 4 item
  • can crushed tomatoes with the juice - 1 oz
  • chopped bell pepper or can use 3 Tbsp - 1 c
  • chili powder more or less to your taste - 1 Tbsp
  • cayenne pepper more or less to your taste - 1/4 tsp

How to make turkey piccata:

In a large skillet, brown turkey with onion. Drain fat. Place meat mixture in a large crock-pot and add remaining ingredients. Mix all together well. Cook on lowest setting for 8 to 10 hours. Stir well before serving. Stores well for up to a week, if you have it around that long!
