Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 5 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cumin - 1 tsp
- green bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- Monterey Jack cheese, shredded - 8 oz
- can chopped green chilies, drained - 1 oz
- fresh garlic to taste - 1 item
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes, drained and chopped - 1 oz
- boneless chicken breasts, cut in small pieces - 4 item
- avocados, cut into wedges - 2 item
- can tomatoes, peeled, drained and chopped - 1 oz
How to make tortilla soup:
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water in a large soup pot. Stir in chicken and cumin. Simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Heat oil in saucepan. Add green pepper, 1 onion and garlic.
