Ingredients/Components
- tomato juice - 4 qt
- butter, melted - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- salt - 8 tsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- sugar - 1/2 c
How to make tomato soup:
Mix melted butter, flour, sugar and salt. Add a little hot juice to mixture, then mix in with boiling juice and boil 1/2 hour. Put in jars and cold pack 30 minutes. Add milk or water and heat before serving. Yields 4 quarts.Recipe categories: Fruit, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
