Ingredients/Components
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- basil - 1 tsp
- chives, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- 9-inch pie crust, bake and cool - 1 item
- to 8 Italian plum tomatoes, peel and slice - 6 item
How to make tomato pie:
Place tomatoes on bottom of pie shell. Mix mayonnaise, cheese, chives and basil. Place on top of tomatoes. Sprinkle top of pie with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly and brown. Pie serves 6.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Side dish, Vegetables.
