  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 6 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 6 Tbsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • baking soda - 1/2 Tbsp
  • chocolate chips - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
  • butter-flavored Crisco - 1/2 c

How to make toll house cookies:

Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Combine Crisco, sugar, vanilla and water. Beat until creamy. Add egg and flour mixture. Fold in nuts and chips. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased pan.
