Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 3/4 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
- Bisquick - 2 c
- egg yolk - 1 item
- ground pecans - 1/2 c
- softened butter/margarine - 1/3 c
How to make toffee bars:
Heat oven to 350°. Mix first 4 ingredients with fork in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan. Stir in Bisquick until moistened. Press mixture evenly into pan. Bake 16 to 18 minutes or until light brown. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips and let stand until softened, 3 to 4 minutes; spread evenly. Sprinkle with pecans.
