  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • water - 1 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 6 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • Mix flour and sugar well

How to make texas chocolate cake:

Preheat oven to 425°. Mix flour and sugar well. Add next four ingredients and bring to a boil. Add to dry mixture, then add eggs and stir well. Mix together buttermilk, soda and vanilla and pour into batter. Pour in large greased oblong pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 425°.Icing:1 stick margarine6 tsp. cocoa1 c. nuts6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar Mix margarine, milk and cocoa. Bring to a boil; add other ingredients. Pour on warm cake.
