  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 2 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • box confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • Bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and water

How to make texas chocolate cake:

Put flour, sugar, cinnamon and soda in bowl and set aside. Bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and water. Pour over flour mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Icing:4 Tbsp. cocoa1 stick butter6 Tbsp. milk1 box confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla Bring to boil cocoa, butter and milk. Remove from heat and add confectioners sugar; mix well. Add vanilla. Pour hot icing over hot cake.
