Tex-mex quiche
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- all-purpose flour - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- 4 oz - 1 c
- half and half cream
- can sliced ripe olives, drained - 1 1/2
- unbaked pie shell 9-inch - 1 item
- can chopped green chilies, well drained - 1 oz
How to make tex-mex quiche:
Sprinkle chili powder over the inside of the pie shell. Combine cheeses with flour and place in pie shell. Combine eggs, cream, chilies, olives, salt and pepper; pour over cheese.Bake at 325° for 45 to 55 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before cutting into wedges. Yields 6 servings.
