Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 2
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- yellow cornmeal
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- ripe olives - 1 2
- can creamed corn - 1 item
- eggs unbeaten - 3 item
- 2 1/2 can tomatoes or 3 c
How to make tamale pie casserole:
Fry onions and garlic slowly in oil until tender. Add meat and brown quickly. Add green pepper, then remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into a large (3-quart), greased casserole or baking dish (13 x 9-inch). Bake at 250° for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until firm.
