Taffy apple salad
Ingredients/Components
- large can crushed pineapple unsweetened, drained and save juice - 1 item
- mini marshmallows - 2 c
- Spanish peanuts with skins
- diced apples with skins - 2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar white - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- large Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make taffy apple salad:
Drain pineapple (save juice). Mix crushed pineapple and marshmallows together and put into a bowl with a cover. Let set overnight (approximately 8 hours) in refrigerator.Mix pineapple juice, flour, sugar, egg and vinegar in saucepan over low heat until thickened. Put in bowl, cover and let set overnight in refrigerator.
Next day, combine all ingredients. Mix well, cover and refrigerate.
