  • granulated sugar - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • vinegar
  • miniature marshmallows - 2 c
  • egg, well beaten - 1 item
  • large carton Cool Whip - 1 item
  • salted peanuts - 1 c
  • large can chunk pineapple, well drained save juice and set aside - 1 item
  • Red Delicious apples, chopped very small with skins - 2 item

How to make taffy apple salad:

Cook together over medium heat the pineapple juice, sugar, egg, flour and vinegar until it makes a pudding-like consistency. Leave in refrigerator overnight. The next day, stir in the chunk pineapple, marshmallows, apples, peanuts and Cool Whip.
