Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 2
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- can whole tomatoes with juice - 1 oz
- can kidney beans with juice - 1 oz
- can whole corn with juice - 1 oz
How to make taco soup:
Brown beef in large, heavy kettle; drain and add onions. Cook until onions are tender. Add remaining ingredients, except cheese. Simmer for 15 minutes. Ladle into bowls. Top with grated cheese. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Ground beef.
