Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- ground cumin - 1/2 tsp
- minced garlic - 1/2 tsp
- crushed red pepper optional - 1/2 tsp
How to make taco filling:
In skillet, brown beef and onion; drain excess fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally. Makes 2 1/2 cups. Freezes well.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Main dish.
