Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- sour cream - 8 oz
- chopped tomatoes - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 4 oz
- chopped green chilies - 1 item
- taco sauce - 8 oz
- chopped lettuce - 1 item
- dry taco seasoning optional - 1 pkg
How to make taco dip:
Soften cream cheese and blend with sour cream until smooth and creamy (1/2 package dry taco seasoning may also be added). Refrigerate until firm in 9 or 10-inch pan. Spread taco sauce over cheese and sour cream mixture. Top with green chilies, lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. Serve with taco chips.Variation: Ground beef, browned and drained, could be used in topping.
