- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- medium bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- shredded cheese - 1 (8
- taco seasoning - 1 pkg
- canned tomatoes - 1 c
How to make taco casserole:
Brown ground beef in skillet; drain, then add water, onion, pepper, taco seasoning, tomatoes, tomato sauce and sour cream to beef; let simmer about 30 minutes. Crumble 1/2 of chips in bottom of casserole dish. Put 1/2 of meat mixture on top of chips. Sprinkle 1/2 cheese on top of meat. Add remaining chips, meat and cheese. Bake until cheese is melted.
