Ingredients/Components
- water - 3/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese, divided - 2 c
- taco seasoning 1 1/4 oz - 1 pkg
- shell macaroni, cooked and drained 8 oz - 1 pkg
How to make taco bake:
In a medium skillet, brown beef and onion. Drain. Add water, taco seasoning and tomato sauce; mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in macaroni, chilies and 1 1/2 cups cheese. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
