Ingredients/Components
- sliced Swiss cheese - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken - 1 item
- chicken breasts, skinned and washed - 4 item
- dash of sage or marjoram optional - 1 item
How to make swiss chicken:
Lightly flour chicken and brown in oil. Put in baking dish, cover with Swiss cheese. Add soup to oil to make gravy and pour over chicken. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or after browning chicken, leave in skillet and pour over soup and cover skillet. Cook slowly until chicken is done.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
