Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 6 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make sweet rolls:
In a pan combine milk, butter and salt and scald. Let it cool completely. In a bowl, combine water, sugar and yeast. Stir and cool. Mix these mixtures together when they are both cool. Add about 4 cups of the flour and stir until sticky. Add the rest of the flour to knead. On floured surface, knead for 10 minutes. Put in a greased bowl and let rise until it doubles. Punch down. Cut into roll size sections. Put in greased pans; let rise again. Cook in 350° oven for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Breakfast.
