Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • melted margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • shredded coconut - 1/2 c
  • margarine, melted - 1/3 c
  • mashed sweet potatoes - 4 c

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Topping:1/2 c. chopped nuts1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. shredded coconut3 Tbsp. melted margarine In large mixing bowl, combine potatoes, butter or margarine, eggs, milk, vanilla and sugar. Spread into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. For topping, combine all ingredients and sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until heated through. Serves 6 to 8.
