Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1/2 item
- cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice - 1 tsp
- or 5 sweet potatoes, baked and peeled - 4 item
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Pecan Topping:1/2 c. flour1 c. brown sugar1 c. chopped pecans1/2 stick margarine, melted Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, eggs, salt, vanilla and cinnamon and beat until well mixed. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Top with pecan topping and bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until done.Pecan Topping: Mix flour, brown sugar, chopped pecans and butter and spread or sprinkle on casserole. Can bake in pie crust and serve as pie.
