Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter - 3/4 item
- mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c
- cream a can of milk will do - 1 c
- Combine the ingredients; add to beaten eggs
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. Combine the ingredients; add to beaten eggs. Place in casserole and bake at 400° for 25 minutes.Topping:1/2 c. crushed cornflakes1/2 c. chopped pecans1/2 c. brown sugar3/4 stick butter Mix well and pour on top of potato mixture. Bake 15 minutes more.Note: You can add up to 5 cups of sweet potatoes to make a larger casserole without having to increase any of the other ingredients.
