- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/4 c
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- cooking oil - 3/4 c
- 10x sugar - 1 lb
- apples, cut fine - 3 c
- Add flour, apples, nuts, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix
How to make fresh apple cake:
Brown Sugar Topping:1 c. brown sugar1 stick butter1/4 c. milk Combine oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla in mixing bowl; mix well. Add flour, apples, nuts, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour, then at 325° for 1/2 hour.Cream Cheese Topping:8 oz. cream cheese, softened1 lb. 10x sugar dash of salt1/2 c. butter1 1/2 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped pecans Cream Cheese Topping: Cream the butter, sugar and cream cheese. Add vanilla and salt; beat until creamy and fluffy. (If needed, add enough milk to give it spreading consistency.) Add pecans and blend.
