  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • oil - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • sweet potatoes - 2 c
  • dates or raisins - 2 c

How to make sweet potato bread:

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream oil, sugar and eggs together. Add dry ingredients. Bake in 4 small or 2 very large loaf pans at 350° for 1 hour.
