Sweet and sour meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- small green pepper - 1 item
- can pineapple chunks - 1 item
- cherries optional - 1 item
How to make sweet and sour meatballs:
Cook meatballs. Drain fat from skillet and remove meatballs. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in skillet. Stir in pineapple (with syrup), vinegar and soy sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat. Add meatballs. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes. Stir in green pepper and simmer 5 more minutes.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Main dish, Ground beef.
